Literacy Support
Comprehensive Literacy Assessment
$150 per session
Our detailed literacy assessment offers an in-depth analysis of a child's reading and writing abilities. We evaluate their phonological awareness, decoding and encoding abilities, knowledge of phonemes, speech sound accuracy, and language capabilities. This extensive evaluation method is designed to pinpoint each child's strengths and literacy challenges. The assessment typically takes 2-3 sessions to complete.
Afterward, we will explain the findings and make recommendations.
There will be an extra admin fee of $130 if you would like to receive a detailed written report that outlines your child's literacy skills, areas that need improvement, and personalized recommendations.

Important Note: This is not a diagnostic assessment for dyslexia. Instead, this assessment is designed to identify your child's current reading skills and the areas needing further development through intervention. It is suitable for all struggling readers, including those with dyslexia. However, if you are specifically seeking a dyslexia diagnosis, please inform us, and we can arrange a separate assessment process for that purpose.
10 week Literacy Intervention Package
$1300
This package will be recommended when the assessment findings suggest 1:1 literacy intervention is needed. This package includes 10x45-minute treatment sessions over 10 weeks. You are guaranteed a weekly time slot on our caseload for the full ten sessions. The intervention will focus on improving the literacy skills that the assessment highlighted as needing development. Research indicates that struggling readers often require more than 10 sessions of intervention. Therefore, after the initial 10-week therapy period, we will conduct a review to determine if additional sessions are necessary. Should you decide to continue with further intervention based on our recommendations, your child will keep their current time slot, and we will invoice you for another intervention package.

Pay in installments: Pay with 4 payments across 6 weeks. An additional $30 admin fee applies to all our payment plans.
Mileage & Travel Time
$0.95 per/KM
$130 an hour
All prices above pertain to intervention services provided in our Pukekohe-based clinic. If you would prefer therapy happen in your home or at your child’s school you will need to pay mileage fees.

Our mileage fees are $0.95 per/KM and are calculated as a return trip from our clinic. Additionally, you will be required to pay for the round-trip travel time at $130 an hour. These prices will be added to your invoice when paying for your treatment package.
