Meet Melissa
Occupational Therapist
Melissa is a paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting children and their whānau. She previously ran Connecting Together Paediatric Occupational Therapy Service here in the Franklin area. Melissa is passionate about supporting children across all areas of development to reach their full potential, with extensive training and experience in neurodiversity, additional learning needs, and sensory integration.
Melissa’s approach focuses on building the underlying foundations for development while working towards the goals that are meaningful and important to each child and their family. She believes therapy should be engaging, strengths-based, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.
Melissa looks forward to getting to know each child and their whānau and working together to support them to thrive.
